Here you will find all the information you need to know about the benefits you are entitled to once you become a UNISON member.

NEW BENIFITS FOR ODP's

 UNISON will provide free  membership to the College of Operating Department Practitioners( CODP ) to members who are employed as Operating Department Practitioners ( ODP's). If you are a member of UNISON from September you will have access to to the CODP services & receive a copy of the CODP journal 'technic'.

If you are member of UNISON & are an ODP you should receive a letter explaining this new benifit but if you haven't received or you know a colleague who hasn't received a letter contact UNISON direct on 0845 355 0845 

ODP's who are already members of the CODP will have their details updated automatically but if for any reason you are asked to renew your membership fee contact the CODP on 0870 746 0984 to confirm your UNISON membership.

The CODP provide guidance on professional matters, supports ODP's with continuing professional development, holds conferences & study days & produces a bi-monthly magazine.

Membership to CODP is normally £50 yearly & this free benifit will be a great tool for ODP's to maintain their registration.

Full members are entitled to benefits paid out on: death, accident, fatal accident. Education and training grants are also available.
